Tracking all those macros is exhausting and leads to constant paranoia about how much you are eating. It takes all the fun out of food.

In reality all you really want to know is "Am I eating enough protein to make gains?"

Well this simple protein tracker does just that. If you want to just know how much protein you are eating and track protein intake for the day, this is the shortcut for you. This is all its does! Enter your protein in a meal, see the current running total for the day, and done.

This is an iOS shortcut so it only works on iPhones. Sorry Android users....🥲

One step setup:

We use reminders as the database for the protein count. All you need to do is:

  1. Go into your reminders app and set up a reminder list called "Other" (without quotations). This is where the reminder that holds your protein count is stored.
  2. That's it! I did say it was a one step setup above....
